Who We Are
Pressure Tested is operated by David Swann. This site is located at pressuretested.co. The diagnostic tool is located at app.pressuretested.co. If you have questions about this policy, contact david@pressuretested.co.
What Data We Collect
When you use the Signal Challenge quiz, we collect the name or channel handle and email address you provide at the end of the quiz. This information is used to deliver your score breakdown and to add your score to the public leaderboard if you choose to submit it.
When you use the diagnostic tool via ZIP upload, you upload a YouTube Studio analytics export. This data is processed in your browser to generate your Signal Score. We do not store your uploaded analytics files on our servers.
When you connect your YouTube account via OAuth, we request read-only access to your YouTube Analytics data. We use this data solely to calculate your Signal Score and display your channel diagnostic. We do not modify your YouTube account, upload content, or access any data beyond what is required for the diagnostic.
YouTube API Services
This application uses YouTube API Services. By using the OAuth connection feature, you are agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
We access the following YouTube data through the API: channel analytics including views, impressions, click-through rate, watch time, and subscriber counts. This data is used exclusively to generate your Signal Score diagnostic.
We do not store your YouTube API data permanently. Your analytics data is processed to generate your score and is not retained after your diagnostic session ends.
You may revoke this application's access to your YouTube data at any time by visiting Google Security Settings.
Email Communication
If you provide your email address through the Signal Challenge quiz or any other form on this site, we may send you your score breakdown and occasional updates related to Pressure Tested. We do not sell or share your email address with third parties. You may unsubscribe from any email at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every message.
Cookies and Tracking
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages and does not use cookies for tracking purposes. We do not run third-party advertising scripts. If analytics are added in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
Third-Party Services
This site uses the following third-party services: GitHub Pages for hosting, Supabase for database services, Kit (ConvertKit) for email delivery, and Google OAuth for YouTube account connection. Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information you provide. OAuth tokens are stored securely and YouTube API data is processed over encrypted connections. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
